Do You Have What It Takes?

Summoning all junior resource investors, mining fanatics, and amateur letter writers! The stage is set for the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) Convention, and CEO.CA is excited to announce the 2024 Stock Writing Competition. Share your ideas, unearth hidden gems, and write up your bullish or bearish cases on mining and exploration companies for a chance to win $2K!

How do I win, you ask?

All you have to do is write a research article (using a CEO.CA community article) on a mineral exploration or mining company. It's that easy! Eyeing a great exploration play? Found an interesting story on the PDAC floor? Think there are some undervalued or overvalued companies out there? Long or short on the stock, write an article on why you think they’re one to watch, and you could win big!

Winners will be chosen through community feedback, a panel of CEO.CA judges, and a review focused on each submission's insight, analysis, and originality, ensuring the standout articles are recognized.

Prizes:

Three cash prizes are up for grabs!

  • 1st Place: $1,000
  •  2nd Place: $750
  •  3rd Place: $250

Multiple submissions are encouraged though entrants will qualify for only one prize to maintain fairness.

Top 10 Will Also Receive CEO SWAG from SHOP.CEO.CA!

Research Article Guidelines

Stock Focus – Focus your article on a publicly listed mineral exploration or mining company. Your article will not be published if it focuses mainly on politics, marketing or non-business-related trends.

High-Quality – Your article should include high-quality opinion and analysis including but not limited to corporate overview, competitive environment, strategy, outlook/valuation and or financial analysis. The article doesn’t have to include a buy/sell call-to-action but must include information that presents the reader with a well-presented and convincing argument.

Write in Your Own Voice – If the stock you are writing about has been well-covered, bring a new perspective that others may have missed. All submissions must be proofread and free of grammatical or spelling errors. What we don’t want is a bunch of CHATGPT summaries...
